1. How was your offseason?
Braz - I thought it went really well. We lost our back up PG but we’re able to bring Theo back, sign Q rich to replace Hayes and had brought in rebounding savant Brian Cardinal who’s on a good deal for a future pick.
MrClubz - Lackluster. My pick dropped to 9 when I was projected 5-7 all throughout the season and I also lost Larry Hughes because I didn’t have enough cap to retain him. So in actuality it was a horrible offseason 😩😩
stooolfan - It wasnt very good. My draft of Conley is looking very bad. I wasnt able to swipe away any FA's. Diaw's extension is meh. I like him, but nothing super exciting happening with the Kings.
2. What are your projections for your team this season?
Braz - coming off a huge, dominant regular season I figured it would be an easy path back to that glory but leave it to FBB to throw a wrench. We had an awful start but a 5-1 sim 2. I hope we can project out like I intended as a 55-60 win team but I’m not confident as I once was.
MrClubz - Plan A was to try and get my pick back and tank but that didn’t get much traction. Plan B was to trade Marion for a player for the future and reset. First part of plan B I was able to pull off and get Deron who I tried to get from Utah a couple of seasons ago but they went with AK instead. The east is so bad right now I might be able to reset as well
stooolfan - I really need to win the Draft lotto and land a good player. I cant miss again or I will get CY'd
3. Who had the best offseason? Worst?
Braz - I think saying Kobe had the best is easy as he had the double FA steals in billlups and miles along with his young roster. I also liked what the bucks did as they took a lot of assets and acquired Wade and Dice.
For worst I don’t think anyone really fucked up but Stool didn’t land Kd and that hurts him.
MrClubz - Best offseason I would say the Spurs. Going from one of the worse teams in the league and picking #6 in the draft to signing Billups and Miles via FA while also trading for Marion and Hughes without giving up any quality picks.
The worst? Sorry to say but it would have to be the Magic. Not sure what they are doing. They traded Damon for free even though he was expiring. Gave Stro and Gomes away for free but this was more understandable because he needed the cap. But also gave Rip away for free without their pick and didn’t get any picks back in the process
stooolfan - I had the worst offseason, my team fucking sucks. Kobe and HF. kobe stole two players and HF landed KD.
4. Wade and Marion were traded. Who’s the next star to get moved?
Braz - I’m goin to say Rip Hamilton if Habes gets ancy as a guess but could see Orlando moving everyone, spurs moving miles, Rex moving Lewis etc. lots of deal to be had. I’m down to move everyone too besides Lebron
MrClubz - Guess I answered too late but once Wade was traded we need Jamal was going to eventually be moved as well
stooolfan - I could see Wade getting moved again.
5. Thoughts on the G-League been so far?
Jayda - I think it’s cool but nothing crazy. Doesn’t really help these shitty players.
Braz - love it. Gives more purpose and reason to the later stages of draft and a bit of extra thing to do.
MrClubz - GLeague has been random and still pretty fresh so we haven’t seen many players develop from there but interested to see how Gleague MVP players develop down the line as well as some of the players that were drafted just outside the lotto
stooolfan - Indifferent, I like that it is something new and fresh. I have only used it once, so will see how it develops my meh player.
6. The draft file has dropped. Who’s your top 5?
Braz - Rose Russ Love Jordan then Beasley? Idk draft seems deep from 5-10
MrClubz - Russ, Rose, Jordan, Brook, and Love
stooolfan - No order I like, Russ, Rose, Love, Beasley, Eric Gordon
7. Thoughts on Russ at SF?
Braz - think this is wha my we did last time. Need to make him unique I guess
MrClubz - It’s fine to me. I didn’t know it was going to be an issue
stooolfan - He can play PG so that is cool. I dont really care, not sure the difference of him at SG
8. Kidd. Diaw. GWall. Marry. (you’d take) Fuck (Eh). Kill (No) for trade. Basically, rank them as far as trade value.
Braz - give me Kidd bc he can still play. Trade Wallace bc he has talent in some areas (know what your getting) and kill diaw bc he loooks like he gotta be put down. But trade wise Diaw may have most value to right GM
MrClubz - Kill Kidd, Fuck Diaw, Marry GWall but eww why did you ask about these players? Lol
stooolfan - Kill Kidd, love Gwall Marry Diaw cause I already did.
9. What are your thoughts on the ratings currently? Are we leading towards inflation again or are we in a good spot?
Braz - it’s hard to tell some days I’m happy with 2.5 blocks per game others I’m upset. Same goes for boards and scoring. Lebron is amazing but doesn’t seem like he could carry us alone despite being inflated so that’s good right ? For the league, not me
MrClubz - I take what I’m given man. I don’t complain much. It is what it is.
stooolfan - I think we are in a solid spot. Can build fun teams with this. I do not think we are inflated.
10. Give advice to another team (trade, dc, etc..)
Braz - Orlando, brother, save yourself but don’t go anywhere
MrClubz - JR you should have done the damn trade for Marion!! Now look at you, scrambling!!
stooolfan - Kings, quit sucking
