I was into Strat o matic as a kid. So Id replay seasons using that. Pretty awesome simulation source. Dice based. Then I remember Baseball Stars and Tecmo Super Bowl were the first games that kept stats. Was huge on those. I started an NBA Live league around 2000 or so. Would sim and transcribe onto Fanhome I believe. I remember I got into OOTP3 and then sought out a basketball thing like that. First sim was some random guy and I really liked it. Remember I had Lamar Odom and he looked great, but his TOs sucked! Started BBS. Had some pretty horrible ideas, but also started doing RCs and ACs. Then rewarding for posting. Keeping Gms on the forum. Then I would try and steal GMs from other leagues. Fun times. Lol are we the only ones left from the sim league before BBS. I had Nash and Allen backcourt lol |
