1. Hello folks welcome to the hue crew (who even invented this name!) round table first of all, easy question, what are your outlook for your team, rebuilding or trying to win?
Sargo- No idea and don’t even know what hue is. We are going for back to back baby!
JR - I’m in between winning and rebuilding. Would prefer to win but HC didn’t allow me to run it back.
Mouse - Trying to win. Feel like we had a great chance last year and were probably the 2nd best team in the league. Had to move AI for salary reasons, but I think Francis/Iggy/Bosh is still a respectable trio and I'm actually excited to experiment with Diaw as far as what we do with him rotation wise. Jones should hold down some of the offensive scoring we lost from AI as well. It's all about filling out the roster with some decent minimum players.
Royal- Hello buddy, simple outlook for Indiana go get PG13 by any means.
2. We in this sim game for like 2 decades now, what do you think is the reason we still play this game after so long, you think we'll ever stop?
Sargo- It’s just a fun as game. WHO didn’t dream of being a GM ? Here we get to do it!
JR - I think we will stop when there are no simmers left. I know most of us don’t have time to sim that’s why Spencer is appreciated.
Mouse- It's a fun game man. It's something to look forward to every day, and a great way to pass time cause I don't really ever watch TV. And it's fun with this group of guys. Doing some other leagues with different groups and their unique rules just don't feel as enjoyable. Ive known most of yall forever now. Even getting some birthday cash from Royal and John meant more to me then yall know. Got childhood real life friends I ain't getting that love from.
Royal- It's a dope sim engine, and it's just a fun game man, I can't explain this shit. But it's provocative, gets the people going.
3. What are the difference with the sim game now to the sim game before?
Sargo- The sim game back in the day was ass tbh. Constant trolling. Shit files. I enjoy fbb more now in my old age.
JR - the trade market is bleak. Before trading was easy, youth wasn’t over valued people actually liked winning with vets.
Mouse - For me personally when I was in my early 20s I don't remember paying much attention to prioritizing stocks, or adjusting the game plan or really understanding different depth charts for different types of teams.
Royal- The major difference is the style of trolling, it hasn't stop but before it was brutal. Now it's bit more respectable, and not as wild as it used to be.
4. The draft went 1. Curry(duh) 2. Harden (duh x2.), after that it went Blake, Jrue, Deroz, do you think its the correct order?
Sargo- Probably. Tough draft after the top few picks.
JR - Ehhh i don’t blake at all. Jrue before him. This draft was ass.
Mouse- I didn't even pay attention. Once I seen Pat Bev go 6th, I was like yeah let me trade out of this draft and keep it moving.
Royal- Honestly I was expecting Derozan or Jrue to go 3. Was surprised Blake went 3, but picks 3-5 really could've went anyway.
5. After 5, the draft looks shitty, who do you think out of these idiots after 5 turn into a good player, thoughts on diego dropping to 6 and getting 7 on a 5 man draft?
Sargo- Jennings is a boom or bust guy. Jrue maybe, but his notes left a lot to be desired.
JR- i think only steph turns out good. Harden gonna avg like 5 topg but put up good stats elsewhere.
Mouse - Pat Bev probably becomes the new Tony Allen Ron Artest defensive menace on a championship caliber team getting 2 blocks 2 steals per game.
Royal- Diego has had some bad luck, but you never know with these drafts who can actually pan out. I think Rubio is going to be decent, and Danny Green probably becomes one of the better defenders in the league.
6. Speaking of shitty on paper, the free agency looks terrible this season, only 4 players (Marbury staying on 36/2, Ilyasova 7 yr max, Jrich 5 yrs, Ellis 3 yrs max to Phx) had a substantial deals for day 1 thoughts on those deals? Any diamond in the rough that can be picked up?
Sargo- The Ellis deal was my favorite. Lots of camps left. Should still develop into a scoring guard for the suns.
JR - Ellis with camps is intriguing. Rest of the FAs is ass. Surprised somebody didn’t try and full max monta.
Mouse - I actually wanted to grab Josh Boone cheap. Still a relatively young big with +19 left in camps but Sargo grabbed him. Couple others guys I like, but not mentioning them in an article lol.
Royal- Nah this was genuinely a shitty FA, I didn't even bid on any of these guys. These years happen, it was more of a maintain your depth and bird guys. It'll be better next season.
7. 2010 Draft Looks like another top heavy draft with ehh depth, 2011 looks like an elite draft too, what you want to see on this upcoming drafts?
Sargo- Maybe a late steal that turns elite. Maybe one every few seasons.
JR - I want to see diamonds in the rough. Somebody nobody expects and notes to be the truth.
Mouse - Currently have no picks in those 2 years so haven't looked into it really. Can always trade into it if I find a guy I like.
Royal- 2011 is whatever not looking to far ahead, 2010 is PG13, I will trade the house for my boy.
8. College Football 25 are yall playing? Thoughts on the game no diego.
Sargo- Wish I had the time… or a PS5! Looks good though.
JR - Yes I’m playing. It’s tough. Different from other EA games. Haven’t chose a great team yet, but it’s fun.
Mouse - Not playing and don't really care, but it seems like the hype is crazy though.
Royal- Downloaded it, but haven't touched.
9. Are there too much trolling in bbs now that tyga and mouse joined?
Sargo- Not at all. There’s no real trolling tbh
JR- Uhh you troll more than Abney.
Mouse - Objectively speaking I don't troll much on the actual site. FBB wise I consider myself to be professional and a fair negotiator. The discord is different though lol. I love trolling there.
Royal- No. Stop singling out my friends. They've been great assets to our community.
10. In connection with the previous question, 1-10 how much we need LB on BBS?
Sargo- Hes so fucking annoying but I’d take him here. He’d bring activity. Probably a few GMs that should be let go.
JR- 0 is the least? Cus I do not want LB begging for my players in texts.
Mouse - He might be better then a couple guys here but it's just a matter of dealing with the consistent trade offers.
