As long as Kidd retires soon marty can build a team essentially through fa and trades before cy. Plenty of teams going through hc issues as is. He can take advantage.

What does the HC penalty accomplish besides that? A tanking team with no firsts and inability to sign fas what are they going to do? Trade Jason kidd for lebron James? You run your team properly and avoid the penalty like eveeryone else does. When did I complain about the penalty? I'm just telling you all it accomplishes. What do you expect any team to do with the penalty? I didn't get under before opening season boohoo! |

I thought marty knew even after the indy deal he was still over I’m unsure what he knew. If he did know it would be simple to make a deal other then the fact Greeme doesnt log in on Saturday. I didn't check Haven't really followed the drama here this weekend but 18,000,000 x 1.15 is 20,700,000 which is 2.7 million dollar difference. I was roughing things out. Ed Smith has a little change on the contract over 18,000,000 so its roughly 2.8 million so I am not sure what happened here. |

Oh the guys you were getting were under 18,000,000. Yeah it isn't arbitrary 2.8 million. 1.15 of the lower contract in the deal.
