1 Denver Nuggets - Carmelo Anthony
146 Carmelo Anthony SG 26 6'7'' 238 A- A+ B B- B- B
Actual Pick: Lebron James
146 Carmelo Anthony SG 82 40.0 46.1 9.4 5.2 1.5 0.7 2.5 .527 .895 .464
Probably the greatest FBB Player I've ever seen goes number 1 in the Redraft, an easy choice over Lebron James, Could make a case for Lebron but this a Melo league and we're just living on it. Any team that has Melo should go to the Conference Finals easily every season. Steve now has him, let's see what he can do with the GOAT FBB Player.
2 Indiana Pacers - Lebron James
141 LeBron James SF 26 6'9'' 250 A B+ A A- A- B
Actual pick: Dwyane Wade
141 LeBron James SF 82 38.3 29.9 10.9 5.3 2.0 1.2 2.2 .475 .756 .419
I could make a case for Lebron still going number 1 on the redraft, but Melo is just crazy, still Lebron still only 26 and was actually also had a potential boost on him, could have a few more exploding TCs to lessen the gap. The rebounding edge and the stocks and almost elite handles is chef's kiss for this FBB player, even with according to lumley Braz playing yahtzee, Braz is always on the edge of breaking through to be a true contender, but with the supporting class looking like early Lebron Cavs days roster, Lebron probably wouldn't win a championship soon. But still with a semi decent supporting cast he'll probably do better.
3 San Antonio Spurs - Chris Bosh
147 Chris Bosh C 26 6'11'' 235 A- C C A A B
Actual pick: Chris Bosh
147 Chris Bosh C 82 35.6 17.6 14.9 2.4 1.1 3.7 1.4 .435 .766 .118
Same draft spot for Christopher Bosh, kobe gave up on him way early, and now he's probably the best big man in the league. The rebounds and stocks at his spot is elite, also was potential boosted, making these players a monster. According to Spencer if Mouse would run an inside or balanced offense he would have way better scoring and I agree he would probably be 25-30 ppg big with that, but not sure if that would translate into wins. He goes at the same spot and kobe probably keeps him if he knows he'll turn like this.
4 Charlotte Hornets (from Nets) - Dwyane Wade
149 Dwyane Wade PG 29 6'4'' 220 A- A- A+ A C C
Actual pick: Dwyane Wade
149 Dwyane Wade PG 73 38.0 28.3 5.6 10.2 2.1 1.1 2.5 .461 .911 .398
Still a superstar but the three above are just outworldy, also potential boosted, a top 3 PG in the league right now after starting a little underwelmingly. The oldest of the four too so he goes at four at this redraft and goes to Mike who probably trades him early to HeatFlash. Like I said he's good but the three above him are just the top players of their respective positions.
5 Atlanta Hawks - Sofoklis Schortsanitis
432 Sofoklis Schortsanitis C 25 6'10'' 345 B- C- F+ B- A- B
Actual pick: Sofoklis Schortsanitis
432 Sofoklis Schortsanitis C 62 31.2 15.4 11.8 1.4 1.0 1.8 1.0 .452 .676 1.000
Same pick for chipper who couldn't pick a direction with his team, and might be dealing with personal issues right now, Sofo is a good but he's not that good, and probably have the lowest value he ever had right now as new players are getting drafted every year, had All League 2nd team, and All League Third Team selection under his belt, but there's dime a dozen of players with similar built than him, for example Al Jefferson. Chipper should pick a direction now before he gets back to the CY board again.
6 Phoenix Suns - Boris Diaw
341 Boris Diaw PF 28 6'8'' 250 C+ C+ B B B C
Actual pick: Boris Diaw
341 Boris Diaw PF 75 32.5 9.7 9.2 3.3 0.6 1.3 1.4 .441 .728 .341
Same pick again, the draft really sucks after this, but Boris Diaw if had been signed to a non max deal would have been very good, with his versatility to play SG with good rebounding, In this re-draft I don't trade him for early peaking Manu Ginobili but something more useful or just keep him, the potential boost didn't affect him much, but still would be servicable and valuable if he was on a Ron Artest/Tony Allen role and not on a max, huge drop off at this point of the draft though.
7 Dallas Mavericks - Leandro Barbosa
397 Leandro Barbosa PG 28 6'3'' 194 C A- A- A- D C
Actual pick: David West
397 Leandro Barbosa PG 79 34.4 21.1 3.3 6.5 1.6 0.2 2.6 .461 .836 .413
This is when I decided to do just Top 10, as the rest of the draft sucks and we'll be just wasting my time and your time reading about guys like TJ Ford and Nbudi Ebi, I don't like Barbosa at all to be honest and I've been trolling ever since CC maxed him, but since he had a hype to have a first max contract he's still servicable? Actually no, I don't think he works at all at FBB but would have been a decent trade chip I guess, pre-max.
8 Memphis Grizzlies - Travis outlaw
361 Travis Outlaw SF 26 6'9'' 210 B- B+ D+ A C C
Actual pick: Chris Kaman
361 Travis Outlaw SF 82 32.4 9.2 6.1 1.3 1.4 1.0 1.1 .430 .763 .402
A fifth starter who cares, let's move on, but nah he's servicable, doesn't turn over, doesn't shoot a lot, has decent rebounding, decent enough stats, the guy you would fill your roster once you're near Hard Cap. Could probably get from Bucks for almost free if you're trying to win this season, a plug for my good friend Rousan. But at this point the guys were hoping for Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Melo and left with these guys, this is the thing that Play and others are talking that the rest of the draft after top 5 looks meh.
9 Washington Wizards - Josh Howard
399 Josh Howard SF 30 6'7'' 210 B- B C- B+ B- D
Actual pick: Josh Howard
399 Josh Howard SF 82 28.0 9.6 6.6 1.5 0.8 0.3 1.2 .401 .786 .410
Gets bonus points for staying on the same team, one of the rare case that a jahallstar's players get fully camped! I'm still not sure why Dwight Howard's Jump shot was camped, and why Monta Ellis was not fully camped though. Josh Howard is just a worse Travis Outlaw but with better rebounding. Rarely turns it over. More of a 6th man than a fifth starter though.
10 Philadelphia 76ers (from Cleveland Cavaliers) - Mickael Pietrus
282 Mickael Pietrus SF 28 6'6'' 215 C+ A- C B+ C+ D
Actual pick: Mo Williams
282 Mickael Pietrus SF 82 32.1 9.8 5.4 2.8 1.3 0.2 1.6 .465 .857 .418
The French Jordan according to Lumley316, same built at Howard and Outlaw but with higher salary, Lumley was trying to "gift" him to teams the past few seasons but wasn't able to do so. Decent enough player to be a contributor but nothing to write about, didn't include FBB-deleted players on the re-draft as they are nowhere to be found now, still when I see myself writing about career high 9.8 ppg player, it's time to stop and write a better one where the draft didn't stop at four which is kinda impossible with how the drafts are built lately.
That's it for now folks, I'll try to find a better draft where it's not just 4 players and scrubs, can someone put me into that direction, it would have been waste of time to look for more players with how bad the rest of the draft is, I guess we could talk about David West, Chris Kaman who both turned out to be leftover FA which is sad considering these two are All-stars in real life. Thanks for reading folks and vote 5.
