fun fact, the reason the hornets nest is part of all Charlotte emblems is during the revolutionary war, the British general (Cornwallis) referred to the city / area as a hornets nest. With overwhelming manpower the British invaded NC through Charlotte (1780) and while they were able to take the city, within 16 days they retreated back into SC because of the constant attacks. |

I dont remember how it came up when we were chatting but I complained about the cost of Bruce tickets and he told me he got his on the cheap at Camden, I looked and the show was on a weekend so Wifey said OK to us going up there for the show. |
