kawhi for white isnt a good trade even if your desperate. just because someone is in their cy doesnt mean that they can make bad trades and not get criticized for them.
trading kawhi for a negative stock sg didnt help. he could have found scoring help without giving up kawhi

Iguodala isn't better than white and I would love to see how it would even be possible to match salaries to get jr without gutting my entire team

kawhi has way more value than white. Why argue long term player vs player value for a cy team? You need to build a team that can win at that point. Kawhi isn't close to that. White was a key player on my team since his 2nd year. I'd say easily top 5 SG. how many james white offers have you had the last 5 seasons |

I've gotten a few white offers. I had my team up and didn't move them because I wasn't going to just dump em or take less then what i thought he was worth. Besides moving white wasn't necessary the issue. BD was.

Name value def matters a lot on trades. Especially a top pick who’s yet to pop off. Unlikely Leonard would be a bust. But when Cy is at the door you gotta win.
