why is there even a contract year, when the bottom half of the first round of the creation draft only got their players on a 3 year contract, which lines up with the CY that makes no fucking sense. play complaining gives the league continuity nah man. I'm rarely around and I'm just noticing these things. I would've been fucking screwed, if I didn't reset last year. I had no idea their were different contracts based on where you were picked in the first round. |

those were always the rules though. no different then if i tank and i trade for a soph and he walks before my cy bad luck always sucks. if he doesn't want to take the risk of losing camby so move him at the deadline for an older guy nah its bullshit dude 1-15 15,000,000 x 4 16-29 12500,000 x 3 2nd Round 10,000,000 x 3 3rd Round 8,500,000 x 3 4th Round 5,000,000 x 3 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks should not have the same amount of contract years as a first round pick. All first round picks should've started with 4 years. Especially with a contract year in place. How is it possible for you to lose your first round pick in FA before even hitting your contract year? That makes absolutely no sense. i hear but if you really want somebody you can far outpay anybody so the odds of losing them are pretty close to 0. you can start at 15 mil and everybody else at 12. you are actually in a better position then somebody who is drafted in the regular draft bc then you both can start at 12 mil |
