Sat down w/ Jayda 1. Prior to this season, what was your team's goal and has it changed or remain the same?
Jr - nothing has changed. It is to compete for the ship. Looking to add something to help the push after the pacers got MJ and Mutumbo.
2. You are currently #1 in the east. Do you think you can sustain this success throughout the rest of the season and into the playoffs?
Jr - I think we can, not sure we will. We went to the ECF last season and lost to Pippen. I guess this season losing to MJ would make sense.
3. The Pacers have added Deke, MJ, and BJ. Are they the new favorites in the east or do you believe your team is still the best in your conference?
jr - They have beat me 2 times recently. It is hard to match up with MJ. I think Kidd will smoke Bobby in the pkayoffs tbh. If we can limit MJ then we will beat ‘em.
4. What areas on your team needs improvement and do you plan on addressing those needs?
jr - I think i need a legit shot blocker. I have 3 guys around 1.5 a game. If i could add a guy that does 3+ i would be ready. I don’t think any are available though.
5. You have shown interest in acquiring Glen Rice from Boston. How do you see him fitting in on your team?
jr - It’s an immediate upgrade from KVH who is bad. Posey is one to two seasons away from being a legit starter. If i get him he’d give me the best wing scoring punch in the east.
6. At first glance without notes, predict your top 3 picks in the 2000 draft.
Jr - hedo Kmart and JCraw. Pretty easy looking at ratings.
7. A lot of big names moved around this season. Do you expect any more big names to be traded before the deadline and if so, who?
jr - I think Kittles will finally get moved if play is actually semi active. He should’ve been moved but idk if he’ll be active. Maybe Glenn rice if he’s considered a big name.
8. Finally, give us your Super Bowl prediction and MVP.
jr - I’m a niners fan, so I’m going with Niners 24-20 CMC mvp. 120 yards 2 TDs. I also think Kittle outplays Kelce. |
