1. Milwaukee Bucks - Chris Paul PG 6'0'' 175 20 B- B- B+ B- C A
JR starts off the rebuild with the best player on the board. BBS hasn't seen someone come in with 4 B ratings in a while so Paul easily looks like the best player in this draft and a good cornerstone to go into the future with.
2. Charlotte Hornets - Andrew Bogut C 7'0'' 260 21 B- D+ C+ B+ C+ A
A couple nice wing pieces out there but we already have Melo and Josh Smith on the squad. We are going to hedge that Bogut is a pretty solid stats defender who will need some rebounding camps. I like the ratings here and the fact that he was a former Warrior shouldn't hurt either.
3. Toronto Raptors - Danny Granger SF 6'9'' 222 22 B B C B C+ B
Toronto is starting the rebuild and they have holes everywhere. Granger looks like a stud on paper, but I am going to watch out for an "elite" jumping not that could derail his stock. With that said, with a little pot and some camps this guy is a bonafide stud off the bat with these ratings.
4. Washington Wizards - Marvin Williams SF 6'8'' 237 19 B- C+ C- B C A
Meh, this could be hit or miss but both Williams offensive ratings are at the highest in the class. Wizards give Devin Harris another year to see if he can contribute and plug in a wing who will need some help on the boards if he wants to be a SF in this league.
5. Sacramento Kings - Monta Ellis SG 6'3'' 185 20 B C C+ C C A
Lumley is the big winner currently of the teams who are 6-15 and they will go with Eliis after going with Livingston in last years draft. Both of these guys seem to complement each other with styles of play and Eliis is also the highest C rated Outside guy in the file. Ellis is probably going to have some handle issues that need to be addressed, however Pig Scouting things that after the dud he was last BBS our Commish will be looking to right those wrongs with the POT.
6. Washington Wizards (From Oklahoma City Thunder) - Deron Williams PG 6'3'' 200 21 C+ B- B C C- A
Another two top-10 pick year for the Wizards. Jah has an epiphany and thinks Devin Harris actually sucks and pivots for a new PG. Deron Williams off the bat has some questions about his skill set, but he probably is the BPA at this point. When you have this much youthful talent you can take these risks.
7. Dallas Mavericks (From Houston Rockets) - Gerald Green SG 6'6'' 205 20 B- B- C C C A
I think there are two players at this point who can be considered, and they go for the high-flying Green who is bound to have big time handles issues and probably a very inflated inside ratings. Mavericks like the high B- outside and think he is loaded with POT so they take him hoping he can be an elite scorer for the franchise to pair with Al Harrington down the road.
8. Philadelphia 76ers - Andrew Bynum C 7'0'' 285 18 C+ D+ D+ C+ C+ A
Iggy and Bosh look really good and a good foundation for the team. 76ers select the very raw Bynum hoping he can be the anchor at the 5 spot for franchise for years to come. Bynum will need a lot of camp work which might be difficult with both Iggy and Bosh on the roster, however I am not seeing another potential superstar in this draft.
9. Portland Trailblazers - David Lee PF 6'9'' 245 22 B C C C B B
This becomes a complete crapshoot at this juncture. Lee is probably a very good player who is loaded with strength, jumpshot and rebounding. Probably will have very minimal stocks though. I think the camping roadmap is pretty easy here for Lee and he joins a pretty crowded frontcourt in Portland as a solid piece to hopefully help this team out.
10. Memphis Grizzlies (From Detroit Pistons) - Lou Williams SG 6'1'' 175 19 C+ B C+ C C- B
A couple different options at the wing position are maybe better players, however the Grizzlies add Williams to the late lotto war chest. Grizzlies lack elite scoring off the bench and Williams projects as a guy who should provide that at a minimum. Should be an upgrade over Mateen Cleaves in a couple years.
11. Charlotte Hornets (From Miami Heat) - Ersan Ilyasova SF 6'9'' 235 19 C+ B- C- B+ C+ B
Really love the ratings on Ilyasova here. Hornets keep adding to the squad providing a guy who looks to be a great utility piece for the team. Will be intresting to see what his stats defense looks like.
12. Charlotte Hornets (From Los Angeles Clippers) - Amir Johnson PF 6'9'' 240 18 C+ C- D+ B- B- B
Here we are again! While Ryan Gomes is the prettiest player on the board still. We have a log jam at the wing with Smith, Melo and Illyasova. There's a bunch of bigs who look like Johnson, however he has the best all around ratings and is the youngest available. Hornets throw him in the rotation with Bogut and Humphries.
13. Toronto Raptors (From Dallas Mavericks) - Ryan Gomes SF 6'7'' 250 23 B- B- C- B C B
Toronto at the end of the lotto gets the shittier version of Granger with Gomes. Gomes just looks too good to pass on at this juncture and Toronto is just trying to figure it out. The man from Connecticut (raise up) comes in an provides some dynamic offense for the Raptors in year one.
