It would have worked with Trae too- we were a Trae-stepping-on-refs-foot injury away from beating the Bucks in 2021. Schlenk had surrounded Trae with exactly the right players.

He wasn't the same the rest of that game, missed game 4 (which, somehow they won), Hawks got wrecked game 5 without Trae and then game 6 Trae wasn't fully healed and was not great. Hawks ABSOLUTELYT were winning that series if Trae stayed healthy. |
