It would have worked with Trae too- we were a Trae-stepping-on-refs-foot injury away from beating the Bucks in 2021. Schlenk had surrounded Trae with exactly the right players. bro they gave away a top 10 player all time to trade down for Cam Reddish if you think Luka is a top 10 player of all-time, I can't help you man. Maybe he ends up there- but he's nowhere close to top 10 yet. THAT BEING SAID- of course I'd rather have had Luka than Trae. I said it at draft time. I said it during the playoff run. I say it now. I've never wavered- Luka >> Trae. But the Hawks had a good team that was built well around Trae. What they have now is unrecognizable. |

How did the hawks turn to such ass Huerter trade so they didn't go over the luxury tax was the first reason. He fit perfectly next to Trae and they should have kept him. Second reason was they traded Gallo away and he was such a big part of that team Third- Capela was the only one playing really good defense and he took a major step back this season because he's getting old Soooo many other reasons too. |

I fully believe Luka has the talent to be in the top 10 all-time- no question! You're saying he's already there. He's not. MJ, LeBron, Russell, Kareem, Wilt, Magic, Bird, Oscar, Kobe, Duncan. Those are the top 10 right now. You can argue for Shaq or Hakeem or Jerry West in there for sure. Luka's nowhere close to those guys yet. |
