First off we would like to thank the San Antonio organization for an easy negotiation process during the introduction of this new and exciting league. Our thought process behind this deal was to take a different approach than we have in previous creation drafts. I've always tried to contend right out of the gate, and things have never really panned out like expected in years past. I decided to take the approach of using this opportunity to collect as many future draft assets as possible in order to tank and build over the years. We'll have 2 2nds to play with whether we keep them and draft 2 solid guys, or potentially move them for more futures from other teams. Either way, we're going to keep making moves that will benefit the organization over the next couple years and beyond.
