1. Sacramento Kings - Russell Westbrook
Very good pick. Russell should be the best player in the draft. His ratingS look very good right now. If he blows up in TC then watch out. According to notes he is elite at quickness and jumping. Need to work on his jump shot and defence though.
Grade: A
2. Golden State Warriors - Derrick Rose
Solid pick here for the Warriors. Probably the 2nd best player after Westbrook. He looks good. Looks like a very good scorer at this point. According to notes he is elite at jumping and has good quickness and inside scoring. He needs to work on his handles and defence though.
Grade: A
3. Indiana Pacers - Brook Lopez
I like this pick for the Warriors. Brook looks real good. He has very good notes; good strength, blocks and jump shot. He is a good defender at the front court but he really needs to work on his rebounding. Once he does that he will be very good.
Grade: A-
4. Minnesota Timberwolves - Kevin Love
Nice pick here for the Twolves. Love looks like he would be a very good PF. Not sure at center though. He is elite at rebounding and has a good jump shot and strength. He is also a very good shooter for a big man. He needs to work on his defence though. If he can be an above average defender then watch out. He also needs to work on his inside scoring too.
Grade: A-
5. Phoenix Suns (from Bulls & Magic) - Deandre Jordan
Bulls draft Jordan and trade him to the Suns. Solid pick here for the 5th pick. Looks like he’ll be a decent big if he has a good TC. Should become a good shot blocker and defender. Notes say he is good at jumping and strength. Needs to work on his inside scoring though. Then he would be very good.
Grade: B+
6. Cleveland Cavaliers from Heat - Serge Ibaka
Cavs trade Serge to the Heat. Serge is a good prospect. He is only 19 years old. Hopefully he has high potential since he is raw. He has good strength and solid jumpshot, inside scoring and post defence. Should become a good shot blocker. Really needs to work on his rebounding though. Nonetheless a solid pick up for the Heat.
Grade: B
7. Chicago Bulls - Nicolas Batum
I like this pick for the Bulls. Batum was one of the players i liked in this draft. He is still young at 20 years old. Maybe could play SF and PF in the future but needs to work on his rebounding. Notes say good jump shot and solid strength. Needs a lot of work. Should become a solid starter though.
Grade: B+
8. San Antonio Spurs (from Hawks) - Eric Gordon
Nice player. Solid pick. 20 years old with A scouted potential. Already looks like a good scorer ratings wise. According to notes he has good jumping and solid shooting. Needs to really work on his defence though. I like the pick. Should become a good scorer in the league.
Grade: B+
9. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Pistons) - OJ Mayo
Might have been picked a little to high. I saw him at a lower position in the draft. Like around 12-17. According to notes he has a good jump shot though. He really needs to work on his defence though. His rebounding looks way to low he become average.
Grade: B
10. Los Angeles Clippers - Michael Beasley
I like Beasley. Looks like he will be a very nice scorer. Has solid rebounding. Needs to work on his defence though. Notes say; solid strength, inside scoring and jump shot. Some nice notes. Will need a lot of work though. Only 20 years old.
Grade: B+
11. Indiana Pacers (from Bucks) - JaVale McGee
Solid pick up for the Pacers. Should become a very good shot blocker. Has good strength. Needs to work on his rebounding though. Scouted potential says B though. Can he get better? We will see.
Grade: B
12. Cleveland Cavaliers from Heat & Mavs) - George Hill
Looks ready to produce right now. Does he have good potential though? With a couple camps could be a solid off the bench point guard. Notes say; good quickness and solid shooting, handles and per D. Needs to work on inside scoring and handles.
Grade: B
13. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Hornets & Thunder) - Anthony Randolph
Drafted for potential. Very raw player at this stage of his career. Needs a lot of work. Solid pick though. Solid inside scoring, jumpshot and strength. Needs to work on almost every thing tbh. Good high risk high reward type of pick.
