For now players can only start the the position they are listed. PF and C can be interchangeable. PG rule stays. You can play small... SG to SF, SF to PF, unless its an obvious tanking maneuver.
No automatic position changes.
Any position change needs to be okd by me. Thatll allow me more time to think of specific rules.

Can we revisit this for this next year?
As written, it zaps a lot of the DC creativity one can perform with wing players. I understand there were grievances when the file last time around got pretty inflated, and we had monster rebounders at the wing but there has to be a middle ground here. I would be happy with some type of rule that would be specifically made for playoff only DC's as well.

One of the reasons I am having a hard time trying to find deals is because I am locked into these preset position rules which allows very little flexibility at the wings and even PG positions. I would even be open to scrapping the PG rule as well. |

I feel like in the history of this league a lot of the time position rules were created were due to certain GM's groveling over how someone held an "advantage" due to (Insert Player Here) as a "cheat code". Instead of performing a reassessment of player value and how it applies and impacts the sim engine it was easier just to complain in order to get certain rules changed in attempt to balance out the playing field.
To my knowledge there hasn't been any type of rule in this league that doesn't allow certain GM's access to acquire and/or develop any player present in the file.

We're using a program created 25 years ago...I would think that it would be the best experience for everyone to maximize the allowable creative ability possible.

i mean if pippen is allowed at sg and kg at sf then yea might as well loosen up the rules for everyone.
just no SF at PG type shit imo. A- rebounding PGs are too big of an advantage
