I still think most people take bron and maybe even wade over melo at this point Na. Melo isn't even a bad rebounder (great actually) and his stocks are fine. |

david west is a perfect example. bron, bosh, melo, wade are the studs and got juiced. he's the next best player from that class, he got his blocks and handles dropped and that was it. result is a third stringer.

Celtics biggest wins were the contract situations they have. Gil and Artest get paid way less then their value. Kris was signed for cheaper as well. This let them splurge on other dudes who helped create a good and fairly balanced team with solid depth. DBW also does a very good job of finding day 4 and 5 guys. Kris didn't sign this new deal until days 4/5 a few seasons back. That's on the teams with cap not be able to identify who is good. Worse players got a lot more money. Gil and Artest I got lucky on |

Yah was just trying to make an example that would make sense. Boogie wasn’t a great defender or a huge shot blocker. But with out those he’s not a star big The key is the tos imo. If hes 25 and 12 with plus stocks hes a star. Then again this league doesnt use bigs well. Can we atleast make boogie better than fucking hansbroufh to start I think the point the league is trying to make is that a super star big has to have certain things to be that. So if boogie will be the best in this class he needs to be a fbb superstar, not exact to what he was. Hence him needing blocks and stuff. It’s like the Jokic argument. Do you make him How he is and he’s useless like last league or do you say okay joker is a top star of our generation. I’ll make him an fbb big star. Scorin, blocks board. I was hoping more teams would value vets. I think Ive learned from the baseball league that with camps youth will always be over valued. I was trying to even the playing field. Seems like some are unhappy.
I do wish I could get feedback from other Gms though. I feel like 4 or 5 unhappy Gms tend to overwhelm the perspective.

I do like that you’re trying to start off lower than the last version to curb inflation.
It looks like some don’t like what the 2nd tier represents in terms of quality. The drop off from tier 1 to next tier is steep is what I’m gathering here.

The issue (part of anyways) tends to be with contracts and value overall. Love the G-League but that added more value to young guys. Why pay 20 Mil for a SG when I can wait a year, give extra camps to and hope my SG can potentially play as well while being paid nothing. It doesn't help that we're still handing out ugly ass deals. I am guilty of it too but like, why is JO making 27 Mil? |
