1. Houston Rockets- Forfeited
Houston Rockets gets no one which is sad, feels like Marty's penalties should be reduced after this, giving a top pick of a draft and getting no free agents for a year seems harsh for a year what more two seasons as what he's slated to do. Already gave up Millsap, so what's Marty supposed to do the next 2 seasons except troll everyone? Should still make the CY though as he's active af.
2. Brooklyn Nets- DeMarcus Cousins C 6'11'' 270 20 B C+ C C B A
Good strength and inside scoring. Solid jumpshot, post defense, offensive rebounding and defensive rebounding. Mediocre 3 point shot, handles and blocks.
Bigs don't grow on trees, especially those with elite potential scoring rating. Boogie has a top 5 big scoring starting rating, camp his blocking and he should be elite. Camp his blocking and he should be good as is, his weakness are easier to correct than the next 2 guys I like, so I feel like he should go number 1 to be honest. Bigs that could score inside and out, just hope potential and the +9 to blocking makes him better and there you get a franchise big man. Should be the number 1 pick in my opinion.
3. Phoenix Suns- John Wall PG 6'3'' 210 20 B C B B+ C A
Elite jumping. Good quickness. Solid inside scoring, jumpshot, handling, passing, steals, perimeter defense.
Letter ratings might be slightly inflated by the elite jumping, but starting ratings reminds me of Derrick Rose, one of the highly touted players of the past few drafts, could be a day 1 starter and someone who will be benefited by PG TC unlike Paul George. His three point shooting being a downside of his ratings though. A John Wall/Jrue Holiday starting lineup looks promising. His notes are all better than Paul George why I picked him here. Should look like an elite PG down the line.
4. San Antonio Spurs- Paul George SG 6'8'' 220 20 B C+ C B C A
Good jumpshot. Solid inside scoring, steals, strength and jumping. Mediocre handling.
Difference of notes from John Wall and Paul George, I don't get how the smoothest player of our generation have mediocre handling when it was his M.O. ever since entering the league someone with soft handles at 6''8. Some people might take him over Wall as he supposedly or should have better potential based from the name. But I don't think the better potential would be enough to take into account the difference in starting ratings. Still should go top 3 just based off name alone. Spurs get some talent. Shoutout Greg Oden though, finally near that 2.5 BPG.
5. Oklahoma City Thunder- Hassan Whiteside C 7'0'' 265 21 C+ D+ D- C+ B+ B
Good strength, offensive rebounding and defensive rebounding. Solid inside scoring, post defense and handling. Mediocre steals, blocks and jumpshot.
A team that badly needs talent! First time a player ratings was change after the release of draft class, B+ reb is tough with a decent enough potential. 3 Good and 3 solid is a good start. Should have decent enough blocks as that's what he do in real life. Should be a decent player camp his blocking early on and he'll turn out nice!
6. Cleveland Cavaliers - Gordon Hayward SF 6'7'' 225 20 C+ B C+ C C A
Good jumpshot and handling. Solid 3 point shot and strength. Mediocre inside scoring and passing.
Gordon Hayward to Svedda is match made in heaven. I took him here as a last out of four all star in real life. Hayward looks promising as a shooting guard as someone who could shoot and not turn the ball over. Mediocre passing looks nice too for FBB. Some drop off after this pick, but Hayward build is one of the easier not to bust picks. Should be a good scorer in the league.
7. Los Angeles Clippers- Derrick Favors PF 6'9'' 265 19 B- C D B- C+ A
Good strength. Mediocre inside scoring, jumpshot, handles, blocks and steals.
Similar starting ratings and build as Greg Oden. I'm never letting that one go. Derrick Favors looks like a decent pick at this point, which is depressing considering it's still the 6th pick of the draft, at 19 teen Training Camps might make a difference. I remember I camped Oden pre-TC and he was B B B at the first TC and looked destined for greatness sigh. I had multiple great offers then. Still, a good build as a 19 year old. FBB might do its magic. Could go Aminu here or Sanders but at 5 I would rather take a gamble on someone who should have higher potential.
8. Utah Jazz- Lance Stephenson SG 6'6'' 230 20 C+ C C+ B+ C B
Elite handles. Solid strength, jumpshot, quickness, drive defense and perimeter defense. Mediocre steals. Poor blocks.
Make em Dance Lance! Decent starting ratings, camp all scoring and he can be a servicable player. Only 20 years old. Lance and Lumley looks like a match as he like this type of players. Look for Lumley to HYPE Lance Stephenson.
9. Orlando Magic - Al-Farouq Aminu SF 6'8'' 220 20 B- C D+ B+ C+ B
Solid strength, steals, inside scoring, jumpshot and handles. Mediocre blocks, post defense, offensive rebounding and defensive rebounding.
Sounds like someone cut from the Lance Stephenson cloth, should be a servicable player at the LEAST. Will depend on how is his potential. The C+ rebounding as a Small forward is a good start, meh I don't like the draft at this juncture.
9. Milwaukee bucks- Avery Bradley PG 6'3'' 180 20 C B- C B+ D+ B
Elite quickness. Good steals and perimeter defense. Solid jumpshot and jumping. Mediocre handles and 3-point shot.
That PG eligibility is big. There ain't much with this build for a PG in the drafts so far someone with good defense and probably not high passing. Could turn out to be one of the better "gimmick" player on this version. I'll take him high. Only 20 years old.
10. Dallas Mavericks (From Pacers)- Greg Monroe C 6'11'' 265 20 B- C- D+ B+ B C
Good strength, steals and post defense. Solid inside scoring, offensive rebounding and defensive rebounding. Poor blocks.
Already a third big or maybe a starter at the moment depending on how you value blocks, with steals his poor blocks might be not of an issue. Camp his rebounding and he's B+ A- at the start. Will I be happy taking him lotto? Probably not? But will I be sad on paying him on his rookie contract? Nah. Nice starting ratings. Probably low pot.
11. Indiana Pacers (From Pistons)- Larry Sanders C 6'11'' 235 22 C D D B B- B
Good strength and blocks. Solid post defense and defensive rebounding. Mediocre steals and handles.
Good blocks and strength, what most people here like from bigs, feel like he's a Habes pick. Already 22 though sadly. But he has a nice base, and should be a nice contributor. Will be 26 after rookie contract sadly. This draft sucks sadly! But this guy will be a contributor.
12. Washington Wizards- Patrick Patterson PF 6'8'' 235 21 B C+ D+ B- C+ B
Solid inside scoring, jumpshot, handles and strength. Mediocre blocks and steals.
Looks nice, scoring big I guess, was a beast last version, starting rating better than Boogie OK. Has all the tools to be a good scoring big man. Shoutout ukfanjohn man, if you were picking him do you double up on the scoring or do you try to camp his stocks? Should be a nice pick, guess thinking bout him might pick him higher.
