1. How is everybody doing on this lovely Saturday? Any big plans for the weekend?
royal - I'm doing great, woke up early got a nice workout in and now getting this day started. Probably head to the park for a few to play some catch and than chill out as we wait for the Niner game!
Braz- Today the wife and I are hosting her parents for her dad's birthday. We got some stuff to cook and will let the dogs play. Knicks on at 3. Should be nice a nice day. Tomorrow we are hosting her other friend and football. Been a good day so far.
mike - Doing well. Woke up early, hit the gym and got back before Livi woke up. Weather sucks so the fam is stuck in today, playing with play dough, drawing, stickers, the usual. Nap time now! Phew!
diego - What day is it ?…o it’s Friday.HHHMMM not really work and then gym and get some sleepy time and do it again Sunday ..that day I’ll watch the foozball.
2. Off-season saw a lot of player movement for the first time. What was the biggest acquisition of the off-season and why do you think so?
royal - Lots of moves, but the biggest deal for me was the Nuggets getting Alonzo Mourning from the Miami Heat. Paired him with a old ass Hakeem and got himself in great position.
Braz- The Denver Nuggets turned their franchise around with the Zo trade, The Wolves set themselves back with the Brand trade and I thought Reggie Miller was a big one as well.
mike - Probably the Zo move. Big deal. Love Zo. Adding him and Hakeem was huge for Denver.
diego - I didn’t get crap …so I don’t care ..but if I had to chose anything it was Jah stealing the big dude Bradley from Play.Cant believe he didn’t take my max either …How does Jah always have this kind of luck 🤷🏻♂️
3. There were a lot of draft review articles, but what do you think the best pick was now after TC and Preseason?
royal - I still love AK47 going #1. He really has all the tools to be a great champion here. Reminds me Chris Hudson back in the day!
Braz- James Posey no doubt for the value. I think after the TC RIP had he will be a stud. I like what I see from Baron as well. Manu seems like he will be the best in the class.
mike - Posey was a steal. Baron looks good, but sims similar to Francis tbh and he has +11 left. The draft leaves a lot to be desired tbh.
diego - The best pick was definitely Elton Brand !!!Hes gonna do something special in Minny …(sarcasm) Abney I’ll camp him and make him elite…maybe but prob not. Falcons suck and Raheem sucks ..thanks for the free 3rd.
4. As stated before, a lot of player movement, which was the worst move by a GM this off-season?
royal - I think the worse move was the Timbeewolves giving so much to move up 1 spot in the draft to take Brand. Dude looks cheeks.
Braz- I do not think we have seen all that much out of the norm. I think the worst move is not signing fillers. Right now Stool and Royal want to compete but are a bit stuck in their current rosters.
mike - The Brand move, followed by me trading 5 picks, including 2-3 future lottos. I love Francis tbh, but I’m sure I’ll regret it.
diego - The Worse move was prob me maxing Stackhouse and not fully camping him.If he busts imma be kinda in trouble …oh yeah and Pig Maxing that fake player and complaining cuz he has 40pot .
5. Give me your early predictions on who will win each conference? Early champion prediction as well.
royal - I'm taking my own squad vs either the Nuggets or Mavericks. Spurs are still good but the other squads are more complete.
Braz- I am going for it all in but the west will be tough. Defending Champ Mavs have a solid roster, Pig is putting talent around LJ who improved to be maybe the top guy on the file and the Lakers added DRob to Kobe. I think in the east the Bucks and Hawks are the top teams. Finals prediction for me Bucks x Nuggets. Why not us??
mike - Bucks and Spurs. Spurs probably win then hopefully blow it up or Mj retires
diego - i have no idea but I think Lumley is gonna bring the ship home and prove everyone wrong !!!!

6. Preseason doesn’t tell us a lot, but it does tell us something, what surprised you the most about preseason?
royal - Speaking from my own team, I love the amount of different guys getting 20 ppg, and Dampier putting up insane numbers in just 21 minutes, I think he'll be a problem down low for a while.
Braz- I have a lot of guys who can score and I went with my bigs as non options. I was surprised to see lower volume from Billups and Zo. Let's tinker with this DC a bit. I love having pre so we can at least have something low risk to work off.
mike - My pre dc was ass. Need to see this team in a balanced offense given the skill set of my players. Nothing really sticks out though.
diego - I was surprised that my team can go 2-12 every preseason then I still win 36-40 games …wtf share that tanking DC Spencer
7. As we enter the 4th season of BBS7, looking back do you have any regrets, not including the creation draft.
royal - My only regret that still messing with me is not getting guys before the trade deadline that had bird years, it really slowed up any progress I was looking to make. Essentially ima year behind.
Braz- Now that I have been able to move on from Camby and find a different face of the franchise in Zo I feel like I am in a good place. Some minor regrets like moving Ceb Ceballos for nothing or not accepting a few deals at the right time. Nothing too big.
mike - Yes. Should have dealt the Ricky Davis pick. Should not have dealt Dyess. The LaFrentz deal last year. So many lmao
diego - I wish I’d drafted better bigs …I have an ok 1-3 but man my big men are bad and I can’t tank hard enough to get a good one like Elton Brand.
8. Name the top 3 players you think have the most value in the league as of today.
royal- Kobe, Shaq, and now Ak47.
Braz- Shaq, Kobe, Duncan. I do not even think its possible to get the last 2.
mike - Duncan, Kobe and maybe Shaq tbh given the lack of quality bigs. Bigs over everything.
diego - Micheal Jordan

Elton Brand
9. The suns are open if you could bring back any GM to take them who would it be? Why?
royal - the only answer is Eli. Top 3 GM in FBB history.
Braz- Possible GM would be Outlawz. He takes a steady approach to the team build and popped up saying he needs the league back. Not on the WL I miss Skillz.
mike - Idk. LB is so damn annoying but at least he’ll trade and is active. Too bad he refuses to come back. Can’t believe I’m saying this.
diego - Elijah Weeekes the goat Gm ..there is no other answer !!!!!
10. Last question, if your wife/significant other gave you a hall pass who would it be? Why?
royal - Who or what? But I'm going to Vegas with the boys, that never disappoints
Braz- Margot Robbie or Shakira
mike - O. We saw how that movie played out. I’m not taking it!
diego - Jessica Alba …was my crush back in the day and she still looks good now and she is tall fake …
